How to find work on HOAcrew
The steps from your first application to a community picking your proposal, in the order they happen.
1. Get approved
A company is approved once a person has verified these documents:
- W-9
- Business registration
- General liability
2. See requests near you
See requests from communities near you and propose with your documents already checked.
3. Check what the community asks for
Each community sets its own insurance requirement when it writes an RFP, and your documents are checked against it before a proposal goes in.
General liability
Required

4. Send your proposal
Answer an RFP in five steps: review the scope, plan the visits, add your line items, write your notes and review before you send.
Write to the scope the community set. The guidance page covers what a strong proposal includes.
Or reach out first
Write up the work and your number for a community that has not asked for it, and send the offer to one email address as a link. Anyone with the link can view it, and only that address can accept it.
Once your company is approved, draft the RFP a community would write and send it to the community’s email address as a link. The community reviews it and decides whether to publish it.
Once your company is approved, browse businesses, management companies and communities by type, and apply to a management company from its tab.
5. When a community picks you
The vendor you choose joins your approved vendors.
Send invoices to the community and see when they are approved and paid.
